QuickImageHub

Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 13, 2026

🔒 The Short Version

  • Your files never leave your device. All processing is done in your browser.
  • We collect no file names, no file contents, and no personally identifiable information.
  • We use Google Analytics 4 for anonymous usage statistics only (with Consent Mode).
  • We use no tracking cookies beyond GA4 analytics (which you can decline).
  • We will display Google AdSense ads in the future. We do not sell your data to advertisers.

1. Who We Are

QuickImageHub (quickimagehub.com) is a free, browser-based image and PDF processing toolkit. We are an independent project with no institutional backing. For privacy inquiries, contact us at [email protected].

2. File Processing — What We Don't Collect

QuickImageHub's core architecture is designed so that your files cannot be collected, not just that we choose not to collect them. Here is why:

  • The site is a static application with no backend server. There is no server-side code capable of receiving files.
  • All image and PDF processing uses the browser's built-in APIs: Canvas API, File API, Web Workers, and WebAssembly.
  • AI features (background removal, OCR) download model weights to your browser and run them locally via WebAssembly.
  • You can verify this yourself: open your browser's DevTools → Network tab → process a file → you will see zero file upload requests.

3. Analytics Data We Do Collect

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) with Consent Mode v2 to understand how the site is used. This collects:

  • Pages visited and time spent on each page
  • Which tools are used (tab clicks, button interactions)
  • General geographic region (country-level, not city)
  • Browser type, device type, and screen size
  • Referring website (how you found us)

GA4 data is stored on Google's servers under Google's Privacy Policy. IP addresses are anonymized before storage. You can decline analytics via the cookie consent banner.

4. Cookies

We use the following cookies:

Theme preference localStorage key 'theme'

Remembers light/dark mode. Not a cookie — stored locally, never transmitted.

GA4 analytics _ga, _ga_* cookies

Used by Google Analytics for session tracking. Only set if you accept analytics.

Cookie consent localStorage key 'ga_consent'

Stores your cookie consent choice. Not transmitted to any server.

Google AdSense (future) Advertising cookies

Will be used if/when AdSense is enabled. Subject to Google's consent framework.

5. Third-Party Services

Cloudflare Pages (Hosting)

Our static site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may log request metadata (IP, timestamp, URL) for security and performance. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.

Google Analytics 4

For anonymous usage analytics as described above. Data is processed in the US under Google's Standard Contractual Clauses for GDPR compliance.

Hugging Face CDN

AI model weights for background removal and OCR are downloaded from Hugging Face's CDN on first use. Only the model file is downloaded — no user data is sent to Hugging Face.

jsDelivr CDN

Some JavaScript libraries load from jsDelivr CDN. jsDelivr may log standard CDN request data.

Google AdSense (Planned)

We plan to display Google AdSense ads to sustain the service. When enabled, Google may use cookies to personalize ads based on your browsing history, subject to your consent.

6. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Under GDPR (EU), CCPA (California), and similar privacy laws, you have the right to:

  • Access — Request a copy of any personal data we hold about you (we hold none beyond anonymized analytics).
  • Erasure — Request deletion of any data we hold. Since we hold no personal data, this is automatically satisfied.
  • Opt-out of analytics — Decline cookies via our consent banner, or use your browser's "Do Not Track" setting.
  • Data portability — Not applicable as we store no personal data.

To exercise these rights or for any privacy concerns, contact [email protected].

7. Children's Privacy

QuickImageHub does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU). If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us immediately.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as we add new features (such as Google AdSense). Material changes will be noted with an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
