Yes, absolutely. Every tool on QuickImageHub uses browser-native APIs (Canvas API, File API, WebAssembly) to process files directly on your device. No file data is ever transmitted to our servers or any third-party servers. You can verify this by watching your browser's network tab — you'll see no file upload requests.

No. We have no backend server, no database, and no file storage system. It's architecturally impossible for us to store your files because they never reach us. The site is a static application hosted on Cloudflare Pages.

We collect anonymous usage analytics via Google Analytics 4 (with Consent Mode v2). This includes page views, session duration, and tool usage — but no personally identifiable information, no file names, and no file contents. You can decline analytics cookies via our cookie banner.

Yes. Because all processing happens locally in your browser, sensitive documents never leave your device. However, we always recommend closing the browser tab after processing sensitive files and clearing your browser's local cache if you're on a shared device.

JPG/JPEG, PNG, WEBP, SVG, and HEIC/HEIF (iPhone photos). Output formats vary by tool — most support JPG, PNG, and WEBP. The HEIC converter specifically supports batch conversion of iPhone photos.

There is no enforced file size limit. Processing happens in your browser's memory, so practical limits depend on your device's RAM. Most modern devices can handle files up to several hundred MB. For batch operations, we recommend starting with smaller batches if you experience slowdowns.

Yes. Most image tools support batch processing of up to 50 files simultaneously. PDF tools typically work one file at a time. The AI tools (background removal and OCR) support up to 10 files per batch due to the computational intensity.

The image editor supports crop, rotate, flip, CSS filter presets (grayscale, sepia, warm, cool, vivid, etc.), and manual adjustments (brightness, contrast, saturation, hue, blur). The meme generator supports multiple independent text layers. Full multi-layer compositing is not available.

We use the RMBG-1.4 model by BRIA AI, served via Hugging Face and the Xenova model hub. It's licensed under Apache-2.0, runs entirely in your browser via WebAssembly, and produces clean transparent PNG outputs. Your images are never sent to Hugging Face's servers — the model weights download to your browser and run locally.

The RMBG-1.4 AI model is approximately 40MB. The first time you use it, the model weights download from a CDN and cache in your browser. Subsequent uses are near-instant because the model loads from cache. WebGPU acceleration is used automatically if your browser supports it.

Our OCR uses Tesseract.js (Apache-2.0), the industry-standard open-source OCR engine compiled to WebAssembly. It supports 100+ languages including English, Korean, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, German, French, and Spanish. Printed text in clear fonts produces the best results.

RMBG-1.4 handles most backgrounds well, including natural scenes, gradients, and studio photos. It performs best with clear subject-background contrast. Complex textures or transparent subjects may have imperfect results. For solid-color backgrounds (white, green screen), the non-AI background remover tool may be faster and more precise.

All modern browsers are supported: Chrome 90+, Firefox 90+, Safari 15+, and Edge 90+. For best performance, we recommend Chrome or Edge, which have the most complete WebAssembly and Web Worker implementations. Safari has some limitations with certain audio/video APIs but all image and PDF tools work fully.

Yes. All 21 tools are fully functional on iOS Safari, Android Chrome, and other mobile browsers. The interface is responsive and touch-optimized. AI tools may run slower on mobile due to less available RAM and CPU.

No installation required. QuickImageHub runs entirely in your web browser as a Progressive Web App. You can optionally add it to your home screen on mobile for quick access.

Most tools work offline after the first visit because the JavaScript bundles are cached. AI tools (background removal and OCR) require an internet connection on first use to download the AI model weights, but work offline after the models are cached.

Yes, completely free. No subscription, no file size tiers, no watermarks, no daily limits, and no account required. We plan to display Google AdSense ads in the future to sustain the service, but the tools themselves will always be free.

Yes. Files you process using QuickImageHub are yours entirely. We make no claim to any files processed through our tools. All underlying libraries are commercially permissive (MIT, Apache-2.0, ISC).

Yes. We're actively developing new tools. Planned additions include a GIF maker, image background replacement, PDF form filler, and additional AI-powered tools. Follow our updates or check back periodically.
